Gigi loves love stories, she loves romance and owns a bookshop of romance books. She's an expert in romance... Except when it comes to her love life.

Her parents met and fell in love through a book, and Gigi has listened to the audiobook of said book, Their Finest Hour, and curiously, she has fallen in love with the guy who reads the book, and she's convinced that he's her soulmate. Her frienda give her as a birthday present a ticket to travel to England and meet him in a tour.

When she arrives for the tour, Gigi is told that Zane, the guy who reads the book, is busy with some family issues and has to stick with another tour guide and also the bus driver.

I liked the descriptions of some places, they were pretty and made you feel like you were there.

I really liked the dynamic between the whole group, they were funny and interesting.

And that's it.

I basically read a book about a woman obsessed with a guy just for his voice, and she swore he was her soulmate... Honestly, those descriptions were creepy and cringe.

Gigi trying to decide between Taj and Zane was confusing. Please, stop idealizing people.

Overall, it was okay. Not a big deal.

I wish I could say I'm disappointed, but I rated with 3.5 stars the first two books. Somehow, I was expecting that this one turned to be actually good. Well, well, well, guess who's a clown? Yes, me.

I don't really know what was the purpose of this book? The boring sex? Emilia being horny like 75% of the book? Wrath and his lack of personality? I hope one day I'll find out, but it won't be today.

There's no plot, no really great character development, nor real romance. At least, I didn't feel like it was romance as such, just sex. Which it's okay. I have nothing against sex because I tend to read smut. I feel like that was solely the purpose of this book: show how horny Emilia is most part of the time.

I feel confused. This book is labeled as Young Adult, when most of the content is way too explicit. Like, many teens don't want to read about explicit sex, I for sure wouldn't want to read such things like this if I was young (and oh, I want to be that young again!). Isn't this supposed to be New Adult? This book is marketed for young adults, but Emilia and Wrath were there fucking like there's no tomorrow and it seems like any of them can't catch a break! Pick one goddamn label, but leave Young adult out of this. New Adult of Adult fantasy could work just perfectly.

Vittoria was actually the only character that I really liked. She was so fucking amazing. Period. She was spilling facts and the truth everytime she appeared. And somewhere in this mess of book I realized that Emilia was actually interesting and had personality whenever she was with Vittoria and not with Wrath.

Sorry not sorry, but Wrath became a second character and stopped being interesting and attractive a while ago. I guess it was his vagueness throughout the book, the way he avoided Emilia's questions (due his curse) or changed the subject really quick. He was just there and lacked of personality.

In comparison to the first book, he was way better there and not here. Everytime he appeared, I was rolling my eyes and thinking "Oh, no! Things are about to get boring." And in fact, things got boring. He lacked of personality and I ended up believing that his only purpose in this book was to being horny 24/7.

I skimmed like 4 chapters because they were really boring and the only thing I missed was the repetitive sex and the way Kerri used one trope that it seems really stupid... No. My rating just dropped to 1 star because Vittoria was actually the one character that kept me reading this book until the end.

This book took me more than a year to finish it. And it's not because it's boring, it's everything but boring! It was because of me. I was really stressed out and having several mental breakdowns. It had nothing to do with this book.

My first book by Sanderson was Skyward because I felt that it wasn't that heavy as TWoK is. And I totally loved Skyward, so I said: "Why not giving TWoK a chance?"

The best decision I've ever made. This is, hands down, one of the best books I've ever read in my entire and miserable life.

I loved everything about this book. Yeah, it's heavy and really long, but amazing. The worldbuilding, the magic system, the characters, the development, everything.

At first, I was intimidated by this book's lenght. And, putting aside the fact that it took me one year and one month (exactly) to finish this book, I can pretty much say that I devoured it. After a while, the lenght of TWoK stopped being a fuss and I completely forgot how big is this book after page 300.

The way Sanderson had me gripping my chair, feeling like I was gonna have multiple heart attacks and about to throw up throughout the book shows how much I loved it. I was constantly on the verge of tears and tearing this world apart or setting it on fire.

The first 900 pages were calmed and amazing. My imagination was flying around all Roshar, feeling like I was in Alezkar, Kharbranth and with all of the characters. Holy hell, that was wild. The thing comes at the last 100 pages.

I was honestly not prepared for anything that happened in those last 100 pages. It was like going in a rollercoaster. Sanderson said "I'll give y'all 900 pages of calmness and preparation, and then 100 pages of madness. Happy heart attacks!". I cannot put into words how much I was suffering and feeling like I was gonna crumble down in any moment. My soul was literally dying.

How could you do that to me, Brandon?

Kaladin, Dalinar, Jasnah, Adolin, Renarin, Navani, even Sezth. The Bridge Four is definitely my favorite, and Syl too!

Everything was amazing. I'm still in shock and trying to process what the hell was that ending. I will read anything by Sanderson tbh.
